Owners of real property in Wabash Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana (the “Township”), are hereby given notice that the Township Board (the “Board”), at its meeting held February 17, 2026, adopted a resolution determining that the Township will issue one or more series of general obligation bonds, in an original aggregate principal amount not to exceed Five Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,500,000) (the “2026 Bonds”) for the purpose of providing funds to (A) undertake (1) the construction and equipping of all or any portion of a new office building to be used by the Township, which is currently anticipated to be located on a portion of the property on which the Wabash Township Fire Department Station #1 is located and upon completion is anticipated to be a two-story building, contain approximately 11,300 square feet with offices to be used by the Township, a food pantry, two emergency vehicle bays, a training area, a kitchen, restrooms and related support spaces and storage, (2) site improvements related to the foregoing, (3) other miscellaneous facility improvement and/or equipping projects, (4) acquisition of land for future buildings, and (5) all projects related to any of the foregoing, and (B) pay all costs incurred in connection with any of the foregoing, including, but not limited to, the cost of issuing the 2026 Bonds.
The 2026 Bonds will have a maximum term ending no later than January 15, 2037, and shall bear interest at a rate not to exceed 6.00% per annum (such rates to be determined by either a competitive or negotiated sale). The 2026 Bonds are as to all of the principal thereof, and as to all interest due thereon, general obligations of the Township, payable from ad valorem property taxes on all taxable property within the Township.
