Fire Apparatus

Quint 601

Quint 601 is a 2013 Ferrara Inferno HD 107ft Aerial that carries 500 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 2000 gallons per minute. 601 is housed at Station #1 and primarily responds to calls for service in areas with fire hydrants.

Rescue/Engine 602

Rescue/Engine 602 is a 2019 Ferrara Cinder that carries 1000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 2000 gallons per minute. 602 is housed at Station #1 and primarily responds to fire incidents in areas without fire hydrants and all vehicle accidents & specialty rescue calls. 602 also carries a complement of basic life support equipment and is capable of responding to medical emergencies.

Brush 603

Brush 603 is a 2013 Ford F450 1st Attack Brush Truck that carries 350 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 350 gallons of water per minute. 603 is housed at Station #1 and responds to all off-road incidents including brush and field fires.

Engine 606

Engine 606 is a 2002 Kenworth T-300/Pierce Contender Pumper that carries 1000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 1250 gallons per minute. 606 is housed at Station #2 and primarily responds to fire & rescue incidents on the south end of our response area.

Rescues 607

Rescues 607 is a 2020 Ford F-250 and is equipped with basic life support equipment. 607 is housed at Station #1 and is the primary medical response vehicle.

Tanker 608

Tanker 608 is a 2009 Freightliner M2-106/Midwest Tanker that carries 3000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping 500 gallons of water per minute. 608 is housed at Station #1 and has the primary job of shuttling water to incidents that occur in areas that do not have fire hydrants.

Rescue 610

Rescues 610 is a 2019 Ford F-250 and is equipped with basic life support equipment. 610 is housed at Station #2 and is the medical response vehicle for the south end of our response area. 607 & 610 are equipped identically and are interchangeable.

Battalion 6

Battalion 6 is a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Command Vehicle. Battalion 6 is staffed by a Chief Officer and is equipped to allow a rapid response to the scene of an incident to establish operational command. Battalion 6 also carries a complement of basic life support medical equipment.

Car 6

Car 6 is a 2021 Dodge Durango. Car 6 is assigned to the Fire Chief and is equipped to allow the Fire Chief to respond to all types of incidents and provide assistance from command to fire attack to assistance on medical incidents.

WTFD HEADQUARTERS

Station 1 serves as the headquarters for WTFD, housing our on-duty staff as well as a station resident. It functions as the hub for our daily administrative activities, hosting the majority of our meetings and training sessions.

Station #2

Station 2 primarily addresses southern township incidents and plays a vital role in securing public safety during major events like the annual Feast of the Hunters Moon at Ft. Ouiatenon. The station houses an engine, rescue truck, and living quarters for a resident.
