Over the last few years, the Wabash Township Fire Department has experienced unprecedented challenges from dealing with a world-wide pandemic to fighting to maintain our staff. No matter the obstacles our staff members face, they do as they’ve done since the inception of our department in 1971, they continue to forge a path forward proudly providing the best possible fire protection, rescue services, and emergency medical responses to our community.

Our Department prides itself in providing aggressive and innovative solutions to maintain the most cost effective, community oriented, customer care organization. The success of this type of initiative lies solely in our ability to take care of our family, so they can serve your family with excellence. The men and women of the Wabash Township Fire Department serve our customers with their full hearts and it’s visible in their care and compassion shown on every call.

Looking forward, as our community continues to experience unprecedented growth, we will continue to grow our organization to meet the needs of those in our care. Beyond growing our career and volunteer staff, this is done by fostering the relationships with our neighboring public safety organizations, community organizations, and continually working to refine our automatic mutual aid agreements that will send the closest appropriate Fire/EMS resources to those in need.

Ultimately, my goal as the Fire Chief is to provide every resident and visitor to Wabash Township the level of service that I want for my family, which is a highly advanced fire and EMS department with a “hometown” feel.
