A Message From Your Trustee
“Wabash Township is a special place! As part of the Greater Lafayette community, we sit at the intersection of Purdue University, the Cities of Lafayette, and West Lafayette. As we continue to see economic investment in our community, our Township is serving more people than ever, both through the services provided by the Fire Department and Township Assistance.
As your Township Trustee, I have worked on the issues affecting our Township, and I will continue representing you and the community as your Township Trustee. There is work to be done to ensure our community receives the fire protection it needs and deserves, to make sure we are planning for the future as our Township grows and becomes more diverse, and to make sure that as we build a future for our community, we help those in need around us.”

About Angel Valentín
Angel Valentín graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Angel has worked with non-profits in our community, including Food Finders Food Bank and Lafayette Urban Ministry. He has also interned in the U.S. Congress with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and has worked with the Wesley Foundation at Purdue University. He was appointed to the Township Board on August 2020 and served as the Board President from January 2021 until his appointment as Township Trustee in January 2022.
