Responding to Emergencies
The Wabash Township Fire Department is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of the community against fire emergencies. Their primary duty is to respond promptly to fire incidents, conduct rescue operations, and extinguish fires to prevent further damage and loss. Additionally, they are vital in educating the public about fire safety, conducting inspections to enforce fire codes, and providing community outreach programs to promote fire prevention and preparedness.

No Prior Experience Necessary
Prior formal training is not necessary. Hard-working and enthusiastic area citizens will be trained and equipped. Men and women of all ages, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, religious and political affiliations, and national origins are encouraged to apply.Â
